The Appreciation Station Team
The Appreciation Station is a concept that was developed over the course of 5 years prior to its soft launch in late 2006 as a simple way to end household hassles and a fun way to teach children to "learn to earn". The concept was developed by Diana Low, the FOX Twin Cities Family Advocate, with the contribution from an amazing and dedicated group of parents. The concept was further developed by a team of family/child psychologists and educators who showed our team The Appreciation Station's incredible versatility and how powerful it could be in the classroom. The Appreciation Station continues to engage kids instantly with it's magical appearance and motivates them in a positive way to reach their goals.
Diana Low - Founder
Hi my name is Diana Low and I thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share in your Parenting experience. It has been my mission for many years now to help other Parents be the parents they want to be in the life of their children.
I believe that teaching my child to contribute in life, starts at home. I believe my children will have to work for the things they want and need and I believe its part of my job as their parent to prepare them for that. It's also important to me to share with you that I believe Parents need less guilt and more opportunity to succeed. I believe that by using The Appreciation Station and the toolbox of support pieces that go with it that Parents will feel successful at the end of the day in the role we play in the lives of our children and I believe that's important!
Deborah Greaves is a devoted mother of three and grandmother of six. Deb holds a Bachelor's Degree from California Polytechnic State University and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara, California. She has worked countless hours with children, teens, and families. The well-being of today's families continues to be her passion and she truly believes that children are our future.
With a focus on making it easy for parents, teachers, and care-givers to work with children from our Model of Appreciation, Dear Deb is available for any questions, comments, or concerns you might have. Exclusive to The Appreciation Station, Dear Deb is your on-line support system as you begin to teach, reward and display appreciation in your home, classroom, etc.
Deb resides in California and as co-founder of The Appreciation Station she is our "West Coast Connection". Deb is available to meet with and speak to parent groups, teachers, and day-care providers about the value of bringing The Appreciation Station into homes, classrooms, etc. You can contact her at Dear Deb.
